Oral Sex Is Not a Sexual Relationship to Young People

Most young adults agree that vaginal penetration is sex, but less than 20% think the oral sex Counts as sexual intercourse, according to a University survey in the United States.

In a survey involving a little over four hundred students, mostly white heterosexual females, enrolled in a course on human sexuality, where 98% of these women were just under twenty-five, with an average age range of little more (20), this attitude and posture regarding oral sex represents a dramatic and sudden change in thinking since 1991, when a similar survey found that nearly twice as many young adults (about 40%) rated oral- Genital as sex.

According to the study authors, the sex education programs that focus primarily on vaginal intercourse and penile can play a role in the disassociation of oral-genital stimulation as part of sex.

Participants responded to the following questions:

You think you had sex with someone if your most intimate behavior was:

  • -Vaginal penetration?
  • Coitus-anal?
  • Contact with oral-genital partner?
  • -If your partner touches your genitals?
  • - Oral contact with the breasts?
  • Tap-in breasts?
  • -Kisses Deep?

Among the notable findings of the research, the following data stand out: only 20% of respondents said that oral contact with the sexual organs of their partners would constitute sex. A number of people who would represent less than 80% of participants consider anal penetration as sex (!!!). Men were more likely to consider certain practical relationships as sexual relations than young women.

  • For the touch of the genital 13% of men consider to be sex, against 7% of women.
  • Oral contact of the breasts was considered sex for 9% of them, against something below five percent on their part was considered a sexual experience.

The touch of the breasts represented sex for 8% of the men and only 3% of the interviewed women. Why the worry? Oral sex has become increasingly acceptable among young people in recent years, perhaps because it is viewed by some as a less risky alternative to pregnancy and STDs.

But doctors warn that oral sex can lead to sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV, herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, and human papillomavirus (HPV), which has been linked to cervical cancer. With this, the researchers aim to encourage parents and teachers to raise awareness about sexual practices.

Editor's note: Well, I publish this matters by official duty. I am very surprised by this disparity. Most of the girls I met while working as DJs at night, women who were sex workers, had a kind of table regarding their service delivery. Something that was more or less like this;

  • For vaginal sex a price
  • With anal ... More expensive
  • With oral sex without ejaculation yet another price
  • Oral sex and masturbation at the end a different price with time variables
  • Oral sex with ejaculation in the mouth triplicate rate

All of them, the sex workers, were also women and, in this confused world of prostitution, they also loved someone.
